Sunburst Campground is a primitive campground nestled between Shining Rock and Middle Prong Wilderness within Pisgah National Forest. Hiking and biking opportunities abound in this area, while just across the street is a waterfall perfect for an afternoon swim. Approximately 15 miles from the campground is downtown Canton, NC, where you will find grocery stores and restaurants. Looking for variety? Downtown Asheville, NC is only an hour from the campground, while Charlotte and Atlanta are only a few hours away.
